We hope to see you at VCU on Feb. 17th with your resume and a smile! This event will be sponsored by VCU Career Services center and ConnectVA. No registration is required. Both students and VCU Alumni are welcome to attend.

Typically, interviewers will conduct “behavioral-based interviews”, a technique used by employers to evaluate candidates’ experiences and behaviors in order to determine their potential for success. Your job is to convey a match between your skills and experiences, and the competencies sought in the mock position. The better you can articulate how you’ve developed or applied the competencies being sought, the more the interviewer will view you as a strong candidate.

If you encounter an employer holding a coffee session, the fact that you don’t have on business attire shouldn’t stop you from stopping to talk.
